Scaffold

What's New in Scaffold: Team Subscriptions, Free Pilot, and Open Trial

Scaffold now supports Team subscriptions for organizations, a free-user pilot program, and a 7-day open trial with no credit card required.

Three updates to share: Scaffold now has a Team subscription tier for organizations managing multiple users, a free pilot program for teams that want to explore before committing, and an open 7-day trial that anyone can start today without a credit card.

What Changed

Team Subscriptions Are Live

Scaffold now offers a Team plan at $29/user/month. Team accounts add organizational control on top of everything in the Pro plan:

  • Member management: Admins can invite, remove, and manage team members from a central account dashboard
  • Team document visibility: Documents shared within the organization are visible to authorized team members — useful for shared contract libraries, standard templates, or handoffs between colleagues
  • Admin controls: Organization admins can set document access permissions and manage billing centrally

This is designed for small and mid-market teams — a boutique law firm where three attorneys share a template library, an HR team where a specialist and a manager both need access to offer letter templates, or a consulting group where multiple team members redline client documents through a shared Claude or ChatGPT workspace.

Teams are still connected through individual MCP sessions — each member connects their own Claude or ChatGPT account to the Scaffold MCP connector — but they share a document and template workspace managed at the organization level.

Free User Pilot

If you're not ready for a paid plan, Scaffold is now accepting users into a free pilot tier. The pilot gives you access to Scaffold's core features — document upload, MCP access, redlining, and template use — without a subscription, in exchange for feedback on your experience.

To join the pilot, email drew@mosaicsolutions.tech with a brief description of how you're planning to use Scaffold. Pilot slots are limited and prioritized for professionals with active document workflows — attorneys, HR teams, consultants, and similar. We'll be in touch within a few days.

The pilot is about learning from real use cases, not building a waitlist. If you have a genuine document workflow and want to try MCP-native redlining at no cost, reach out.

7-Day Open Trial

The standard trial is now fully open: sign up at app.scaffoldyourdocs.com, connect the Scaffold MCP to your AI client, and start working. No credit card required, no sales call, no approval process.

The 7-day trial includes full feature access — up to 10 documents and 5 templates, MCP access, redlining with tracked changes, and template creation and filling. It's enough time to run your actual workflow through Scaffold and see whether it fits.

Why These Updates Matter

Scaffold was built on a simple premise: the AI clients professionals already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini — should be able to work with Word documents directly, without routing through a separate application. The MCP connector makes that possible. Everything else — pricing, team structure, access model — is built around making that capability as accessible as possible.

Team subscriptions reflect how document workflows actually operate: rarely in isolation. Contracts get reviewed by two attorneys. Offer letters get drafted by an HR specialist and approved by a manager. Spec sections get templated by a PM and reviewed by a principal. The Team plan supports those workflows without requiring an enterprise procurement process or a six-figure contract.

The free pilot reflects an honest reality: for professionals who have never used an MCP server, there is a small setup step — connecting the Scaffold MCP to your AI configuration. That step is well-documented and takes five to ten minutes, but it is new for most users. The pilot gives us a chance to work directly with early adopters, understand where the friction is, and make that path smoother.

What's Next

Upcoming features include self-hosted deployment for organizations that need their document data to stay within their own infrastructure, and expanded template logic for high-volume document generation workflows. If either of those is relevant to your use case, mention it when you reach out about the pilot.
